[fixed] BUGGED browser after installing Flash 10.2

Please read my post a few posts back regarding patience.
The real pity is the lack of realization that ChessCube is not the only website with Flash 10.2 issues. Just doing a standard web search on "Flash 10.2 issues" on Google/Yahoo/Bing etc will make you see the broader picture. Flash 10.2 was released without developers (for tons of websites) not knowing what the changes would be, and there's no point trying to fix something if you have no idea what is being changed.
System developers worldwide are playing catch up, and it's a matter of time before ChessCube and many other sites are fully compliant with Flash 10.2 However, you want to leave ChessCube, we cannot stop you.
We do however thank those who are willing to be patient or try a quick fix by putting in some effort from their own side, and will be rewarded with a fully functioning (and updated) ChessCube soon.
Thanks,
Sean

Re: Flash player troubleshoot! About flash version 10.2
Hey fellas. I cannot play on CC because of the crashes. Please see that Adobe sends you an update BEFORE they publish the new software on the web and that CC is compliant BEFORE the time. If this happens every time flash updates we will be without CC for a lot of the time.

beudant wrote:You can disable individual plugins in Chrome:
In Chrome go to options.
Click on the "Under the hood" tab.
On the "Features" menu click on "Plug-ins".
Click on the link that says "Disable individual plug-ins".
On the right side of the screen click on the link that says "+ Details".
Scroll down to where it says "Shockwave Flash 10.2..." and click the "Disable" link.
There should still be a previous version of Shockwave Flash enabled, (mine says version 10.0 r32)
This solved my problem with Chrome, i just enabled previous version ( current version is 10.1 r53 ) and now it works.
Re: Flash player troubleshoot! About flash version 10.2
Thanks a lot for your explanations Beudant! I was desperate but now It works!

Re: Flash player troubleshoot! About flash version 10.2
Anyone else notice it mainly happens for Chrome? Flash 10.2 on Firefox works ok for me...
Re: Flash player troubleshoot! About flash version 10.2
Same thing happened to me bryan, i played few days on Firefox, i think Chrome updates automatically, but we found a solution for that also, it is in my previous post ( quote ) .
Re: Flash player troubleshoot! About flash version 10.2
No, I mean I am literally using 10.2 on both Chrome and Firefox - but only Chrome crashes for me - just wondering if others had the same result (not talking about how to fix this for Chrome
)
Re: Flash player troubleshoot! About flash version 10.2

Re: Flash player troubleshoot! About flash version 10.2
