Chesscube Open

Bring Back the Chesscube Open. Why would anyone remove such a terrific tournament?

Elvis, I share your disgust at the barbaric removal of that fabulous tournament (in the 7 round form) for the purpose of setting up yet another warzone.

I know, but it's a warzone, the one with that 6 rounds(or 7) was the one I was talking about.

It's been changed to a Warzone type Tournament. We're reduced the amount of Fairplay tournaments in favor of Warzones.. which 1) has proven HUGELY popular since being launched, 2) has a more robust tiebreak system, 3) far more exciting.

That's the point, hardly any "normal" tournaments of any symbolic value. The Open used to be the one, classic tournament
