Site suggestion - Chesscube Titles?

I've been thinking that it would be very neat if Chesscube took after FIDE and awarded its players titles upon reaching certain ratings - specifically, CM, FM, IM, and GM for Chesscube ratings of 2200, 2300, 2400, and 2500 respectively. The titles would apply to tournament ratings only, and once a player had earned a title it would appear in front of that player's name everywhere on the site. So a player reaching a tournament rating of 2500 (these are actually few and far between) would become a Chesscube Grandmaster. The proportions and distributions of titles would work out well, I believe.

I think this idea would make the site even more interesting and fun. Just wondering what others think of it and whether Chesscube would consider implementing it in some form. :)

This is actually a very interesting idea in various aspects in terms of chess competition and excitement in addition to our original warzone chess and our XP/Level Systems
I will spread your idea fianchetto66 to others including our administrators

Re: Site suggestion - Chesscube Titles?

An update to my previous suggestion - perhaps, in order to avoid confusion with the actual FIDE titles, a "C" standing for Chesscube could be placed in front of each title - CCM, CFM, CIM, CGM.
