ChessCube, the world leader in online chess tournaments, is proud to bring you another great event in cooperation with our partners at Chess.co.uk.

This weekend ChessCube will host The Chess.co.uk Open tournament. A total of over 200,000 Cubits in prizes will be up for grabs, with prizes awarded to the top 100 players!

The main event will take place on Sunday, 05 June, 2011 at 18:00 GMT. Anyone may enter the final directly or can play in qualifier events throughout the weekend (03-05 June) to win free entry into the final.

Tournament Setup:
Weekend series (Fri-Sun) across 3 Levels
Time Control - 2 Minutes
Scoring System - Must-win
Multiplier - Yes, resets on loss
Double Cube - Enabled
Pausing - Enabled
Handicap - Time
Total Prizes - 206,000 Cubits

Why cant we play chess on this forum? I mean, open a subforum, make a challenge-invite struture as in the battlefield and play...
