CCCC & CCIC Tournament Update

Hi everyone!

Thank you for all your submissions on the Pre-Entry Interest Form for the CCCC and CCIC Tourmanents.

We've gathered up the data on the form, and this is a final look at the data:

These countries will have tournaments based on VIP interest and counts:
Bangladesh
Canada
Egypt
India
Indonesia
Italy
Philippines
Romania
Spain
South Africa
United States of America
United Kingdom

If your country is not listed here, you neither have enough VIPs nor enough interest for us to host a tournament.

Remember, there will be 4 tournament types per country:
1 Minute Bullet (Standard) - 4PM local time
1 Minute Bullet (Chess960) - 5PM local time
5 Minute Blitz (Standard) - 6PM local time
5 Minute Blitz (Chess960) - 8PM local time

We've chosen local time per country from these cities:
Dhaka (Bangladesh)
Toronto (Canada)
Cairo (Egypt)
Delhi (India)
Jakarta (Indonesia)
Rome (Italy)
Manila (Philippines)
Bucharest (Romania)
Madrid (Spain)

Note regarding the prizes:
Due to system constraints, we can only award 1 prize per position. This means that Position 1 and 2 will receive their ticket to the CCIC, and Position 3 will receive 10 Crowns. Position 1 and 2 will receive their 30 and 20 Crowns respectively within 48 hours of the tournament completion.

Can we not see whos registered for each country?

Why Portugal is not a member? We had formed a team...

i see that for the Country's qualified, Nigeria is not found, because i guess i was the only registered VIP and the only one who signed up. The reason(s) being that your payment acceptance is not accepting Credit Card from Nigeria (which only few of us of here in Nigeria have) (to register, i had to tell a friend staying in the UK to buy cubit for me with his credit card)and we are not allowed to open a PayPal from Nigeria.

I can tell you that there is a large market of chess players in Nigeria, some already getting rusty because they don't get to play chess and i found chesscube a place they get connect back to playing their most loved game again.

in view of the above, there is a new epayment in Nigeria from the USA call VTN (VCASH) Google for Virtual Terminal Network, with this epayment, we pay in Naira equivalent of all product and you receive it in dollar

with this payment option, we from Nigeria will be able to pay for premium membership, VIP and buy crowns and Cubit to compete in tournaments.

I was the only person registered for the Canada - Bullet CCCC. The tournament got cancelled. Pretty disappointing. I know I probably don't deserve the crowns (since I did nothing lol), but is there a way I could move forward to the CCIC?

Just unfortunate that we couldn't get 8 players registered in the tournament.

so u r giving 30+20+10=60 crowns,,why dont u make it as 1)10 2)9 and so on up to 10th,,total 55 crowns and tournament will be very interesting
