Pre-CCWC

I am planning to organize pre-CCWC on ChessCube. The purpose of having this tournament is you guys can prepare yourselves for upcoming CCWC. I am planning to have a series based tournament.
I promise you guys to give a good tournament with good prizes. Share your ideas how would you like it to be. All kind of Ideas is welcome.

I think the tournaments matches should be pre defined and not random matches. it is because some gets lucky and win earlier they get more games in a tournament, so more points. better is round system i.e round 1 round2.. like wise..

Hello ! I never heard about a CCWC, but ithink it would be great to have 3 or 4 categories so all the players may have a chance to win, honnestly im rated 1900 and its no really fun when you play guys with +2100.

I Except CCWC 2 better than last one.

You know, since only the best players from every country will be chosen to play in the real CCWC, the others should be given in this Pre-CCWC tourney. And maybe those who do take part in this tournament, shouldn't be allowed to play in CCWC, and vice versa

I don't agree with you Ratan.

Maybe we can do like this, get the list of players who want to play(maybe they have to confirm two times so that they are sure to play),and arrange them into teams according to the ratings(therefore,no teams will be strong). And then make team pairings, and give 2 days for arranging the games. And so on, just like CCWC.. What do you feel?

Well....I Think we must divide the tourney into 2... 1. 2200+ nd 2. below 2200 which helps those players having low rating to participate Thus CCWC2012 can be a bit different frm those of 2011 nd 2010
