Re: Indo vs Australia 10 boards match

Final score Indonesia vs Australia juniors (under 16) was 6.5 - 3.5

One game was lost to a mouse slip and one to disconnection, plus some time trouble issues (since no increment option, as was initially requested by the organizers) but otherwise the match went pretty well.

GM Ian Rogers was on hand to manage the Australian team which was being played from 4 different cities. He was instrumental in updating the score results and coordinating the games. His counterpart, Woman International Master (WIM) Chelsie Monica of Indonesia, OTOH, was coordinating the games at the actual SCUA site.

Board 1 was powered by Woman International Master (WIM) Medina Aulia of Indonesia who managed to come back to CC after her disconnection (DC) but to her dismay she was unfortunately forfeited just seconds earlier due to the 2 min DC window grace. The Aussies stroke of good luck was short-lived however as one of their players lost due to a mouse slip.

The Indonesia team was then lead by CC veteran player, CM Lutfi Ali, on board 2 who paved the way for an unstoppable Indo victory. No luck today for Australia even though they fielded several strong players.

Thanks to Arkham, IntanD and the rest of the mod gang for making this event run as smoothly as it did. And for the very first time, Cafe Noir registered 60 simultaneous users.
