ChessCube Moderators, Tournaments Overhaul
Hi All,
Welcome to the first news update of 2017! I apologize that it's taken this long!
I've got some exciting news to share with you all. We've got new Moderators and new prizes in tournaments!
New Moderators on ChessCube.com:
New ChessCube Site Moderators:

- SpaceTrooper
New Room Specific Moderators:
- Hannibal8162 (Germany Chat Room)
- Konstantino07 (Greece Chat Room)
- Cadalack (Silly Chat & Jokes Room)
Starting February 16, 2017 - we will have an overhaul of the tournaments on ChessCube.com!
ChessCube Fairplay Tournaments:
* We've multiplied the Cubit prizes in these tournaments by 10.
Note: -- The entry fee on all tournaments remains the same as before --
ChessCube Sit N' Go & All Quads Tournaments:
* We've multiplied the Cubit prizes in these tournaments by 10.
* We've multiplied the Crowns prizes in these tournaments by 2.
Note: -- The entry fee on all tournaments remains the same as before --
Note: -- These changes have taken effect on Feb-14-2017 --
ChessCube WarZone Tournaments:
* We've multiplied the Cubit prizes in these tournaments by 10.
* We've multiplied the Crowns prizes in these tournaments by 2.
We've also removed the Daily & Weekend WarZone Tournaments to replace them with something we feel you will absolutely love!
Introducing the ChessCube Championship Series!
These tournaments will take place every day at the same time as the now-discontinued Daily WarZone Final.
There will be 4 separate events, which will all take place at the same time, based on your rating:
- Silver Series
For players rated 0-1299 on ChessCube. Total Prizes = 17,000 Cubits
Entry Fee = 10 Cubits
- Gold Series
For players rated 1300-1799 on ChessCube. Total Prizes = 85,000 Cubits
Entry Fee = 50 Cubits
- Star Series
For players rated 1800-2199 on ChessCube. Total Prizes = 170,000 Cubits
Entry Fee = 50 Cubits
- Champion Series
For players rated 2200+ on ChessCube. Total Prizes = 510,000 Cubits
Entry Fee = 100 Cubits
