I think you have to rent a video -- visit store (the shopping basket icon on the left). A few are merely 5 cubits for a week's use (scroll through until you find those) and that ought to do it (I don't think you actually have to watch one).

Correct, the cheaper rentals for 5 cubits appear to be history (as of a month or so ago?). The remaining point in renting a video would be if you enjoyed watching a video (some members do), and it would help remove the newbie toolbar at the top of your screen. If you really enjoy videos and want them more than a week, consider buying them and using chesscube cinema to view them (for something like $3 to $16, I think).
