Changes since new Cubit policy

List of changes implemented: (read below for details)
1. Hourly free tournaments
2. Get your daily bonus cubits whether you win or lose your first game
3. 20 Cubit wagering option restored so you can wager immediately after getting your daily cubits
4. ChessCube yearly VIP has been reduced from 399 Crowns to 350 Crowns
5. Customers can now buy their friends VIP

Hourly free tournaments

Because users have complained that they cannot play when they have no cubits left, we are introducing FREE tournaments every hour, every day. These tournaments will not only give users the ability to play games, but, if they win prizes, gives them the chances to play more cubit games outside of tournaments.

The schedule will be:

16:00 - Tournament type: 1

Note: There are no free tournaments between 5PM GMT and 7PM GMT, as we reserve this time for users to prepare for and play in the Daily/Weekend Warzone Series Final events.

Always get your daily bonus
We previously set this to be for only if you won a game - this was biased against weaker players, so now just expect you to play a game. The 1 game requirement is just so that you make a little effort on the site, not just log on, get your daily cubits and leave.

20 Cubit Wagering
We have now re-included 20 Cubits wager option - this was removed earlier because it was very close to the no cubit charge of 10 cubits, which might have encouraged all users to go for wagering games only... and some users hate playing wagered games. For this reason, 10 cubit wagering will not return.

ChessCube yearly VIP has been reduced from 399 crowns to 350
VIP is now now over 12% cheaper!!
VIP can now be bought in exact crown amounts - no need to buy extra.
And if you bought VIP in June, we will give you an extra month free (to make up for the 49 cubit difference) - please email [email protected] requesting your 1 month extension.

Give VIP as a gift
Customers had asked for a simple way to gift their friends VIP. Now they can do this easily:
1. Click on the user's name to pull up the player card
2. Select BUY GIFT
3. Select Buy VIP

We will be adding more changes soon, and more info will be provided here.

Thanks,
-Sean

Re: Changes since new Cubit policy

nice...but time should be more than 10 or 15 minutes.bcz 3 or 2 min rated games are not like real game.chess is a game of thinking and planning.....it is impossible plan within 2,3 or 5 in 64 blocks of chess.so long time rated game should be available...
thanx.... (h)

I cant say great job. I understand that you are trying to make a profit and the goal is to sell cubits... but wouldn't the loss of users who came to play for free not be worth that gain?

How is the loss of users who do not pay anything a cost to us?
