Anyone got this one already? Any clue? I'm having a hard time here, one month has passed.. Lol.
1. f5 gxf5 2. Bf3#
That's 2 moves but I am stumped when the pawn do the g5. I just can't seem to see the end of that evasive king.. :D

But I think I'm on the right track now. Just a few more hours of thinking..

Got it!
1. Bh3 g5
2. Bg4 gxf4
3. Bh3 f3
4. g4 f2
5. Bg2#

In move 1 and 3, instead of Bh3 we can move the white bishop to any square as long as f5 is remained threatened. The idea is to trap the king and let the black pawn (his lone companion) do the moves. Black has no other choice, really. Makes me rack my brain, this one.

Re: Puzzle # 10

I'm having difficulty again with this one.
So far, I've made these moves:
    1. Qc3 b5 {or any black move except Qd4} 2. Nf6#
    1. ... Qd4 2. Nf6+ Qxf6 3. Qc4+ Ke5 4. Qe4#
    1. ... ... 2. ... Ke5 3. ?
The problem is when the black moved Ke5. The king becomes evasive after that.. And I think I'm not on the right track.. :D
Anyone has a solution?

Nah.. I think I am on the right track. It just gave me an idea:
    1. Qf6 b5 {or any move of black except Qc5, Qh2, Qg3} 2. Qxd6#
    1. Qf6 Qc5 2. Nc3+ Qxc3 3. Qxd6#
here goes my previously thought moves:
    1. ... Qh2 2. Qc3 b5 {or any move of black except Qe5, Qf4} 3. Nf6#
    1. ... ... 2.... Qe5 3. Qc4#
    1. ... ... 2.... Qf4 3. Nf6+ Qxf6 4. Qc4+ Ke5 5. Qe4#
    1. ... Qg3 2. Qc3 b5 {or any move of black except Qe5, Qf4, Qh4} 3. Nf6#
    1. ... ... 2. ... Qe5 3. Qc4#
    1. ... ... 2. ... Qf4 3. Nf6+ Qxf6 4. Qc4+ Ke5 5. Qe4#
    1. ... ... 2. ... Qh4 3. Nf6+ Qxf6 4. Qc4+ Ke5 5. Qe4#
I think this is a correct solution.. Sir Stu?
