Nxf7? If Kxf7, then Bxe6+. If Qxf7, then Rxe6.

answer:Nxf7

Bishop b1

yeh,Nxf7

la2 e6 :

Good day,

I am not too sure about 1 Ne5xf7 although I am quite sure that is the correct move I am still trying to find the refutation to 1 Ne5xf7 Qe7xNf7 2 Re3xe6 Bb7-d5 now this move makes me think.

1) I thought it was quite obvious 3 Re6xNf6 now double attacking Q+Bishop but that leaves the rook behind in danger of losing while getting checked 3... Re8xRe1+ Then 4 Kg1-f2 I believe triple attacking rook bishop and queen, in a quite nice position... Now again I have thought about this one move: 4... Rh8-e8 Defending the other rook. a) if white takes the queen or the bishop 5 BxBd5 or 5 Rf6xQf7 black mates in 5... Re8-e2#

b) should be retreating queen but I do not see that factible or moving a pawn to make king space but normally defending is not good answer. This leaves me with the thought maybe 3 RxNf6 is not the correct move. Then there needs to be another one.

2) The next move I have thought is the not so obvious move or maybe for other people is obvious not for me. 3 Re7 The queen is pinned with white bishop and cannot take the bishop(3... Qf7xBa2) since it is mate in 4 Qh6-g7#, oops that is incorrect the black bishop is already in d5 thus queen is not pinned anymore and black rook can take the first white rook without any problem of losing queen.

Today I am not going to think anymore, maybe next week I will give another try, <--- too tired to think more

Good day everyone Laters.

Always waiting for comments,

PS: Maybe the sack 1 Ne5xf7 is not the best move for white.

Nxf7?

I play Nxf7(see the Bishop at a2) heavy threat with the Bishop(a2) and the double rook (e1 & e3)threat on the e line.

Kxf7, has to,Bxe6+

Qxe6 Rxe6

Rxe6 Rxe6

Kxe6 Qg7

I think this is the best -leads to the win-combination

@wincinson: 1... Kg8xNf7 is not a move black would do.

Read about my comments... I have partially refuted it with 1... Qe7xNf7 2 Re3xe6 Bd5!!

Thus that is not the move, I am starting to think that 1 Ne5xf7 is not the correct first move.

Regards Xabier.
