Any chance to have some longer time controls tournaments like 15 0 or so? Thanks for consideration in future

Re: ChessCube Club 150 & Club 250 Tournaments

The new tournaments are an excellent idea. I am looking forword to playing in them once i get my level higher. I especially like the idea of a chess 960 warzone. There are not that many chess 960 tournaments and the couple that are there are rarely played in due to the large entry fees.

Re: ChessCube Club 150 & Club 250 Tournaments

Yeah, new tourneys rocking, but i wish there might also be tourneys fro XP level on 100 or 100 above,so we get many more players and also open xp with entry fee like 10,20 cubits etc...Anyway,this is also rocking since this gets many players below 150 to play more games to get xp level 150 and play them..!!!:) Nice one CC and SEAN..!!:) :angelic-flying: :auto-camptrailer: :auto-sportbike: :auto-sportbike: :banana-dance: :banana-dance: :banana-dance: :banana-dance: :banana-rock: :happy-bouncygreen: :happy-bouncyredfire:

Good evening,

The idea seems really nice, but are these tournaments already down? I saw them yesterday but it seems like there is no tournament like those anymore.

Regards Xabier.

Hello jinx. The longest time control tournaments that ChessCube has at the moment, are 10 minutes/time control tournaments.
As much as I would also like to have more of these tourneys and even on longer time controls, those are quite impractical to organize, cause it would take too much time.
For example, if the time control would be 15 minutes with 4 rounds all together...it will require 2 hours of playing at just one tournament.

However, feel free to feedback your suggestion (at [email protected]) and hopefully, we will get more of these tournaments.
For business reasons, I must preserve the outward signs of sanity.
