Having trouble getting help

In all the "chat" rooms, including the help rooms, I can't find any place for me to start typing a question. Seems kind of useless to allow me to go to the help rooms and not be able to ask for help.

So, I finally found these forums, and everything I type in the "search this forum" box gives a message that my search is to broad and I need to be more specific. I don't know how to be more specific than typing "can't chat in help room".

I am a new user ( 1 day so far ). The chess is fun, site looks great, but trying to find information on how to use the site is next to impossible. Is there something I am missing ?

You could private message me by clicking on my username and -> private chat.
