November competition: Play all month and win Crowns + VIP!
This November ChessCube presents yet another monthly competition - just for you!
Do you play a lot of chess on ChessCube? Well... this competition is for you: we want to encourage all users to play as many games as possible - and win or lose - you will stand a chance to win great prizes!
At midnight on November 1 - we started tracking all general (non-Tournament) games played by all users. At the end of each week at 23:59 GMT we will award the top 3 users who have played the most games.
The prizes for the weekly top 3:
1st - 30 Crowns + 1 week VIP
2nd - 20 Crowns + 1 week VIP
3rd - 10 Crowns + 1 week VIP
We will also see who the top 3 users are who played the most games overall in November. This will be calculated from November 1 at 00:00 GMT and 30 November at 23:59 GMT.
The prizes for the month:
1st - 150 Crowns + 1 month VIP
2nd - 100 Crowns + 1 month VIP
3rd - 50 Crowns + 1 month VIP
Points system:
We give the different types of games different points because we know it is much easier to play many bullet games for every blitz or standard game - so we don't want only bullet players to have a chance with this!
Bullet game played = 1 point
Blitz game played = 5 points
Standard game played = 10 points
Definitions: Bullet (< 3min) || Blitz (>= 3min and < 15min) || Standard (>= 15min).
BONUS FOR VIP USERS:
All VIP users will earn double points per game played. That means you have an even better chance of winning the weekly and monthly competitions!

Fairplay System:
To stop using playing a few moves and resigning, we're going to run a fairplay system that will ensure these users will not run away with the competition. We know some users will see the game point difference and try to game this competition by playing lots of fast Standard games to get lots of points, but we will look at ALL winners games and if you are are playing blitz or standard like blitz, you will be disqualified and might be banned. Likewise, to stop users playing a few moves and resigning, we might disqualify and ban any user involved in this.
