Geomar this lag pointer is used to check your connection ping with ChessCube servers.
Lesser bar, slower connection and higher "ms" (miliseconds).
If you have bad connection you can try exiting some programs/websites that use your connection, such as youtube videos in loading state or downloads.

You don't create a forum.
Levels are just a way of showing your experience at the forums, something like that.

By the way, nicely chosen issue at the Chess Tips for Opening post you made at your blog, Himalayh. Good points of view for the openings! ^^

I am monitoring this thread closely, and will reply as soon as possible to any question posted here. It should be a "Question"-"Answer"-"Question"-"Answer" thread. However, if it becomes obvious that there are more questions about one particular aspect of ChessCube, then I'll split out posts to a separate thread dedicated to that particular question type.

Thanks,

Moving a piece by dragging mouse is sometimes difficult and time consuming in blitz. why cannot chesscube make a setting as pieces are moved by just mouse clicking. some chess sites use this setting. why cant chesscube? it will be easy for players not to have a 'mouse slip' while dragging

I agree with that. Good suggestion

Change username

I'd like to change my username but of course keeping my rating and cubits. Is that possible?

Himalayh, you can only create topics.
For that, simply click the "New Topic" button at the forum you're at.
