Bans for cheating - Country list

I'm happy to see the cheaters out congratulations!the system is cool!!!!

The list don´t have Chileans hhahahha greatt!!!!

some one said that philipines has more registered users and that´s why they are in the top position, ok maybe you are right, but we don´t have to forget the fact that they are cheaters players, like it or not. They don´t like to win by them selves, just by using programs, that sucks! BTW i think i´m the only player from my country, that´s why i will never be in that list

Given that you are very interested to continue with this list, can you give the number of "honest" users per nation too, i.e., honest users per country - Top country list?
That, in a way, should help in clearing the facts of people like t0rque!
Or, if the number of registered users cannot be given out, how about, number of cheaters per registered users?

My point is, a famous chess site like CC should not be giving out half facts, if I see any message by the responsible mods of CC, I would love to nod at that, but not for this list!

most of the cheat accounts are from same IP, so its few individuals not the whole country :/ so i dont really see the point of the "country list"

There is nothing incorrect about the list - it is what it is, interpret however you want to.
Adding context would be very problematic since many users from some countries (more often than not the leading ones in this list) also create many accounts - which both boosts the apparent registered user-base from that country and even boosts cheat numbers from that country (same user cheating multiple times), so to adjust for these compounding factors would be close to impossible.

Bryan, posting facts is not rude, posting incomplete facts is rude.

Ok, in case if you have not understood, i will give you an example to clarify my point.

country A has 1000 registered users who play regularly in CC
Country B has 5 registered users who hardly play here

Assuming 1% of all world population are "cheaters" and they are uniformly distributed across nations

Expected number of cheaters in country A is = 1000X1% = 10
Expected number of cheaters in country B is = 5X1% = 0.05

According to the top country list, country A would be considered a nation of cheaters, whereas country B would be considered a super honest nation.

This is the concern for me, when you label a nation as top cheating nation, you are not looking at the number of registered users.

By "your" facts, you are giving us the absolute numbers (10 and 0.05)
whereas I would love to see the number of cheaters per 100 registered users, which shall be a better comparison among nations than your method.

Sean acknowledged this argument and wanted me to suggest constructive alternatives, I urge all those who have a problem with this top nation list to come up with a better alternative.
