Inability to login = Subscription Extension ?

Will my subscription extend ?
I am considering renewing my subscription, but things like this are detrimental to my decision making.
There is not even a single announcement.

Thanks.

Re: Inability to login = Subscription Extension ?

if ChessCube servers are having problems, why not to announce it formaly? theres not an offical topic, about what is happening with the servers and when they will be repaired completely, I dont know how they want to get more VIP users with these continous problems. :snooty:

Re: Inability to login = Subscription Extension ?

I find it curious, if not perplexing, that a professional website such as Chess Cube is deemed to be, does not implement what in the cooperate world are considered basic strategies in Customer Relations. The lack of informing its paying customers (VIP) of the awareness and attention being given to significant issues such as; server crashes, inability to log in, etc. is very disappointing. This omission reflects very poorly on the Owner and Leadership of Chess Cube Inc. The foregoing opinion is mine and therefore am not seeking nor requiring anyone's agreement or permission to hold such opinion.

Yeah! they should make an announcement! not hide anything from their own users!

Re: Inability to login = Subscription Extension ?

Haven't seen Sean around the site lately, but over at the chesscube
blog on Facebook, Mandy was remarking:

If you are a VIP user (either by XP level or purchase), we will extend
your VIP membership by 1-2 weeks once the server issues have been
resolved. Please request an extension here: bit.ly/vipextend

Which (if you detest 'anonymized' URLs like I do), is:

https://docs.google.com/a/chesscube.com ... E6MQ#gid=0

rD

ps. I urge, be patient: Do you remember the last major
shutdown/server move? Took about six weeks to get the site
running again (we're still waiting for the games' history for
pre-Feb. 27th to be restored, along with our VIP 'get site games' link).

At least this time, a VIP extension's being offered. (I'm hopeful that's
not a sign of the disruption being longer than last time, but that the
site's offering a basic business courtesy for major service disruptions.)

A few minutes ago, cc's facebook blog posted an offering of
500 cubits available on request, visit:

https://docs.google.com/a/chesscube.com ... c6MQ#gid=0

(if you like "anonymized" URLs (ugh!), use: http://bit.ly/AolW1x )
