Re: ChessCube V6.28 changelog

Suggestion: Cubitt "cost" be made proportional to game length, quick games incurring less cubitts than long ones.

i'm gonna go to chess dot c o m.. this is made to make money.. and chess should be free, it's chess, not poker.. this is game for chess lovers not for making profit.. sell space on web cite for commercials to make money!! dont charge players.. you guys just started to suck!

Re: ChessCube V6.28 changelog

So is this new update saying that when I play a game with a 25 cubit wager and win I get only 20 cubits back? And when I lose, I lose the full amount?
That seems like a lose/lose wager. My only 'win' is to draw and hope I have the black pieces now too...
Am I right here?

True enough, but I believe the intent is to convert everybody to a paid VIP member by making it too expensive not to be one (so, at least in theory, everyone gains).

Though, VIP (paid, not current XPs at present), bets 35 x 2 games, wins one, loses one. 35 + 35 - 60 = 10 cubit net loss. Even VIPs end up paying for all games now.

Re: ChessCube V6.28 changelog

i totaly diagree with ne1 that agrreed with salem. maybe for vip members its good. but it more or less forces ur hand towards gettin membership. its almost discriminatory towards casual players. and it what world does a 50 cubit wager yeilding only only 10 cubits in return, for a win, make any sense. god forbid u lose a few.(which is inevitable) u can never make that back up. i think this is a desperate move for greater a return at the expense of the lesser skilled player. n its only good for vip if they dont wager. -15 cubits on a 500 cubit wager is like taking a penny off a dolllar. this will ultimaltely serve to expell the wager system altogether. horrible annoucement. any vip that thinks this benifits him is a fool. it is nearly class discrimination.this site will become as dry as one of amazinoids streams.

i think censoring our comments is furthering your image as discriminatory. this is the worst tthing u could have done. it was the one thing that distingushed chess cube from the other sites. bad, bad , bad, shame on you sean.
