Losing Cubits in Standard Games

I've played a few Standard Rated games Recently and wagered about 50cubits on them.
The thing is, that when I won, I only got 40 cubits back. So why would we as the users of chesscube want to have the wager function? Or am I just missing something?

If you win a wagered game, your "win" amount is being added to the initial amount you wagered.
In your case: you get back your 50 cubits PLUS the win amount (40 cubits).

But does "win" amount is being added to the initial amount you wagered mean that if I wagered 50 and won, the next game I'll wager 90?

no if you are waggering 50 cubits you will wager 50 cubits every game no matter if you win your game or if you lose.

You will win 50 cubits (wagered) + 40 cubits if you win.

You will lose 50 cubits (wagered) if you lose, since you lose your cubits when the wager is done you won't lose it again after ending the game in a lose.

You won't lose any cubits if you draw, you will get back the 50 cubits (wagered).

Okay, so the cubits won is automatically added to my balance. I only wondered because I don't see +50 Cubits in green
