Re: Which are your favoutite philosophy book

I like all the taoist books (Tao te Ching, Lieh Tzu, Chuang Tzu), I find them informative and easy to read, and useful. A very good (harmonious and useful) counterbalance to the narcissistic tendencies of the modern world without being preachy.

For a good summary of the influence of western thinkers (philosophers, etc.) on the modern western world, I suggest "The Passion of the Western Mind", an excellent book and not too hard to read...

Side note: all (?) the "Great Books of the Western World" can be found for free online here: http://books.mirror.org/
