How is the loss of users who do not pay anything a cost to us?

Well, bryan, you've lost me, and I'm a paying customer, or at least I was before your behaviour yesterday.

Your behaviour is driving away potential revenue. Fact.

Quite. And there are lots of places to party which don't treat paying customers like dirt. This means you, bryan.

What behavior was that? And you don't appear to have left... still milling around and whining by the looks of it...

Yes, please go party there, and stop stalking me, ideally.

I am concerned for the future of ChessCube. You banned a paying customer, as you well know. Your reason for banning was dubious at best. Should I jog your memory further?

Stalking? I have no idea where you live, and don't want to know. I do want to know what is happening with ChessCube, however, which is why I'm still here. You see, I've spent money here, and I'd prefer to know that I didn't waste it.

I banned a user who was violating site rules by spamming other chess playing sites in the help room. Whether he was paying or not is irrelevant. Typically these bans amount to just warnings - and a simple email to [email protected] gets you unbanned.

But - yes - if you think that because you have spent money on ChessCube, that gives you the right to violate the TOS, well, you would be wrong. We don't allow even paying customers to do various things online.
