Official: ChessCube World Cup II (CCWC2)

THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Welcome to the ChessCube World Cup II!
Which country will follow up on Indonesia's fantastic win in the CCWC last year? Time will tell!
In the month of July - ChessCube will be hosting the official ChessCube World Cup II Tournament. Sixteen teams will be permitted entry this year. In order to submit a team, please make sure you have the following:
* Team captain (may or may not be a member of the team)
* 4 team members
* 2 reserves
* Rating of all players (members and reserves - ChessCube Tournament rating)
NOTE: ALL players (and reserves) in the team should be VIP users for the month of July. (So either a 1 month VIP or a yearly VIP at the time)
Once you have gathered the above, the nominated team captain should send them to [email protected]. NOTE: Team entries posted here will not receive entry - you are required to email the information.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY: 24:00 GMT/Midnight on Wednesday, 6 July.

Indonesia will receive automatic entry as current champions in order to defend their title. The Indonesian Captain should still however submit the required information as mentioned above.
There will be a few rules around this tournament - which will be released soon, however, the number 1 rule:
Each player must be playing from the country whose team they are in - your country will be determined by your IP address (this prevents teams from recruiting the best players on the site to play for them). If at any stage before or during the tournament your team has been found to have recruited a member outside the mentioned country, the entire team will be disqualified.

PRIZES:
Winning team:
Each team member (4 players + 2 reserves) will win 250 Crowns each PLUS 3 month VIP extension per member + each team member & reserve may request to gift a 1 month VIP account to any ChessCube user in their country
2nd:
Each team member (4 players + 2 reserves) will win 100 Crowns each PLUS 2 month VIP extension per member.
3rd:
Each team member (4 players + 2 reserves) will win 10 000 Cubits each PLUS 1 month VIP extension per member.
The full list of regulations, countries and schedule will be announced soon.
UPDATE:
The Tournament will officially kick off on Sunday 10 July, and will end on Sunday 31 July.
The time control per match will be 5 minutes.
The time line for the next few days reads as follows:
Wednesday 6 July - Team entries close
Thursday 7 July - The teams will be VIP checked, and IP checked.
Friday 8 July - The official schedule and groups will be released.
Saturday 9 July - The Tournaments room will be renamed "CCWC 2 Room" - please make sure you log in there.
Sunday 10 July - The Tournament officially kicks off!!
The team captains will be emailed the tournament handbook (in PDF format). Users will be able to download the tournament handbook here.
