Re: anyone want chesscube on tablet?
It would be nice to have a Chesscube app for iOS and Android.
There is a tool from Google that converts Flash to HTML5, it is named Swiffy.

Goetzc, is this tool allows you to play chesscube on iPad? Can you share your experience please?

I think he means it will take our code and covert it to HTML5. Our code seems like it is a bit too complicated for that.
But I agree with this thread - I would also love a tablet app. Such an app would cost money for developers, designers, testers. So for now we cannot afford this app, but really do want to build it for the future.
Re: anyone want chesscube on tablet?
Is there a need for converting tools? I thought Android already supports flash! The only thing chesscube needs to work is the biggest possible board for small screens (edge to edge).
Re: anyone want chesscube on tablet?
A Chesscube app would really give Chesscube a leg up on the mobile chess market.
Right now there is not a good app to play live chess on the iPad or iPhone. Shredder is great, except that it's not live chess and more for analysis. Good business decision to invest in mobile development? Step into a new market before your competition takes hold? A well-built chesscube app would be incredible. A functioning chesscube app would be great. I would pay $5-10 just to play on my iPad, but I have no evidence to suggest that others would pay the same. Do some research, I can't be the only one dying for mobile support.

I dont have a tablet, but I can see that being an awsome app. I'd rather play on a tablet than an ipod (although I am waiting for that app too)
Re: anyone want chesscube on tablet?
I was also thinking about this idea. Very interesting.
I think you could make, in addition to the piece-dragging, a two-click piece moving, since some touch-screens are somewhat slippery.

Is there any progress??
Its quite hard to believe that chess cube has not yet come up with an app for phones..I don't see a reason why that can't be done..please make an app for android, iphone, symbian etc....

Re: anyone want chesscube on tablet?
I agree with all those people who really want to have a ChessCube app on iPAD. I got my iPad yesterday, and of course it is very good. I would definitely pay a reasonable sum of money for an app. Here is a good business opportunity for Chesscube. When are you going to do it?
